AFRY Management Consulting Joins PSI Chapter

AFRY was formed in 2019 from the merger of ÅF and PÖYRY. The Management Consulting Division offers the following key services for the pulp/paper and recycling industries:
■ Strategic Advice—Company/new market entry strategy, business model development, and raw material sourcing and supply strategies.
■ Market Insights and Modeling—Market analysis and forecasting, supply/demand and cost analysis, price projections, and market scenarios.
■ Operational Excellence—Performance improvement, benchmarking, and energy efficiency.
■ Investments and M&A—Due diligence (commercial, operational, and technical) for acquisition or divestments and pre-feasibility/feasibility assessments.
Jose Gonzalez, a senior principal with AFRY Management Consulting, is the company’s key contact for the PSI Chapter. Gonzalez, who is based in Atlanta, has over 20 years of experience as a management consultant, with significant expertise in business analysis and strategic direction for the forest industry, wood products, and pulp and paper companies. For AFRY, Gonzalez supervises strategic, market, and operational engagements in North America and Latin America and advises CEO and senior/board-level executives.
