Don’t Forget the PSI Chapter Scholarship Program!

Don’t forget about Scholarships…

The PSI Chapter 2019 academic scholarship program is underway, with the qualification requirements and application posted here. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2019, with winners announced in June. 

PSI scholarships provide funds to select students who are dependents of employees in the recycling divisions of PSI Chapter member companies. This year, PSI plans to give $2,000 scholarships to eight students, matching its 2018 record. 

“These scholarships can change lives, and PSI is thrilled to offer eight scholarships again this year,” says PSI Scholarship Committee Chair Nini Krever of Wilmington Paper Corp. “For the past 20 years, PSI scholarships have helped qualified students pursue their higher education while lightening their academic financial burdens.”

 PSI supports its scholarship program through donations, raffles, and an annual fundraising bowling tournament, held in conjunction with the Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference North America.
