PSI Welcomes Aronson Recycling as Newest Member
When Aronson Recycling Co.—a division of Steven B. Aronson Co. Inc.—began operating in 1916, it handled primitive scrap materials such as rags and hides. Throughout its 103-year history, however, the company expanded into ferrous and nonferrous metals, precious metals, foam pad, and various grades of recovered fiber, including OCC, ONP, and office paper. Today, the company’s business is focused primarily on processing scrap paper.
In addition to accepting scrap at its headquarters facility in Waupun, Wis., Aronson offers container service for commercial customers as well as remote scrap pickup with its fleet of semi-trailers. The company also notes it can furnish balers for commercial and industrial accounts. Within its operations, Aronson features a 35-foot, state-certified truck scale, and it handles and processes recyclables with balers and material handlers equipped with magnets, grapples, and hydraulic shear attachments.
